John Speed's 1610 Map of Ulster (Enlarged)

"The Province of Ulster Described" shows a scale comparison between English and Irish miles, Irish miles being approximately 20% longer. There is no city inset in the map however an inset drawing of Enis Kelling (Eniskillen) Castle is provided . What make this map particularly interesting is that it predates the settlement Ulster Plantations which were soon to follow.
Enlarged to 690mm x 540mm for ease of reading each map is beautifully reproduced to be almost indistinguishable from the originals and framed in a fine period Hogarth frame
