A notable report on "REBELS MARCH ON GALWAY CHECKED " (Referring to 400 Rebels marching on Galway being checked by the shells from a destroyer that had just arrived in the bay. The arrival of 100 fusiliers uncovered a large force of Sinn Feiners who had cleared away and were encamped at Moyode Castle. Also reports of the barracks at Athenry being relieved having held out. Further troop arrivals from a ship led to arrests of prominent persons and dispersal of the rebels.

Also includes a report of the Sinking of Sir T. Liptons Famous 1225 ton yacht after hitting a mine in the Mediterranean while working for the Admiralty.
