County Kerry - Townland Survey of the County of Kerry (1846) - A stunning Ordnance Survey Map of County Kerry first published in 1846, on a globally unprecedented scale of six inches to one mile, stretches along the entire rugged coastline from The Beara peninsula and the Kenmare River to the mouth of the Shannon and back along the borders with the counties of Limerick and Cork .Incorporating remarkable detail from within all of the parishes in the areas of Magunihy, Calnmaurice, Glanarought, DunKerron, Trughanachmy, Iveragh, Iraghticonnor, Corkaguiny, the map takes in modern North Kerry, Tralee, Dingle and The Dingle Peninsula, The Ring of Kerry, Killarney and Killarney National Park (including it's lakes) , down as far as Kenmare and part of the Beara Peninsula. An enlarged map of "The Parliamentary Borough of Tralee" is also provided to the left of the county map. 

 This extraordinary map is made up of 111 numbered grid boxes which are indexed in a table on the map , any one or more of which can reproduced in their original full size or can be customised into an smaller framed extract from the map as a special order in consultation with our customisation team.
